How Slicer works

Slicer is one contract on Robinhood Chain, the SliceBook. You hand it the whole amount of an order once, USDG to buy a Stock Token or the Stock Token to sell, and it trades it in equal slices over time (a TWAP).

The order

  • Token and side: any of the 27 listed Stock Tokens, buy or sell.
  • Slices: 2 to 100, each worth at least $5. The last slice takes any rounding dust.
  • Interval: at least one minute between slices. The first slice is due at once.
  • Limit (optional): for a buy, slices run only while Chainlink is at or under it; for a sell, at or over it.
  • Opening an order carries 0.0001 ETH, forwarded at once to the keeper for gas.

A slice

Once a slice is due and Chainlink is inside the limit, anyone may call slice(id). It trades the slice on Uniswap, receiving at least 98.5% of its Chainlink value, pays the caller 0.05 USDG and the treasury 0.1% of the USDG side, and sends the result straight to you. If the pool would fill worse, the call reverts and the slice waits.

The keeper

A keeper checks the book every minute with the due() view and runs what is due. It pays its gas from the slice fees, swapped to ETH when it runs low. Anyone else may run a due slice and earn the same fee.

Your control

  • cancel(id): whatever is not sliced yet comes back, any time.
  • The owner can list tokens, set routes and tune fees within hard limits (fee at most 1 USDG, cut at most 1%, slippage at most 5%). There is no function that moves funds waiting in an order.

The impact estimate on the home page

It treats the pool as a simple constant-product pool holding the liquidity DexScreener reports, half on each side. Concentrated Uniswap v3 liquidity near the price makes real impact smaller, so read it as a rough upper bound for comparison, not a quote.

Risks

  • Slices fill at the price of their moment: over hours or days the market can move.
  • A thin pool can keep slices waiting.
  • The contract is unaudited. It is tested on a fork of Robinhood Chain mainnet against the live pools and feeds.
